Terms of Service

Last updated 6 September 2026

Agreement

By downloading or using Saftr you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be at least 13 years old and able to form a binding contract where you live.

What the service is

Saftr is an informational tool. It organises your purchases, compares your receipts against your card activity, and surfaces what that comparison suggests — a refund that has not arrived, a return window closing, a subscription price increase, a charge with no receipt behind it — so you can act on it yourself. Saftr does not process returns, issue refunds, move money, or contact merchants on your behalf.

Accuracy and your responsibility

Return policies vary by merchant, region and item, and are sometimes stated inconsistently or changed after purchase. Matches between receipts and charges are best-effort and may be wrong or incomplete. The merchant's own policy and your bank's own records always govern. You remain responsible for verifying deadlines, checking amounts and taking action, and Saftr is not liable for a window you miss or a refund you do not pursue.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, resell or overload the service, use it to access mailboxes or accounts you do not own, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

Subscriptions and payment

Saftr offers a free tier and an optional paid plan. Paid plans are billed through the App Store and renew automatically until cancelled in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.

Availability

The service is provided as-is. We work to keep it running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Saftr's total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including money lost to an expired return window or an unclaimed refund.

Termination

You may stop using Saftr and delete your account at any time. We may terminate an account that breaches these terms.

Contact and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Saftr operates. For any question about them, write to the address below.
